Reporting ODA (RODA) is a new digital service for reporting Department for Business, Energy, and Industrial Strategy (BEIS)/Partner Organisation ODA spend. This section of the Handbook will tell users what they can expect from RODA. This will constantly evolve as RODA continues to be developed e.g. to report new external OECD/FCDO requirements.
This service collects data about how Partner Organisation spend ODA money. This includes the aims and objectives, budgets, progress, and financial transactions of specific activities. The service will enforce standardisation, consistency and completeness of input across Partner Organisation submissions.
RODA is being introduced in phases throughout 2020-21 and will eventually replace the tracker spreadsheets for all ODA reporting. RODA provides a reliable and accurate single source of truth for ODA information. All Partner Organisation will be onboarded by Sep 2021.
RODA will become the single data reporting point for BEIS R&I ODA. At the end of every reporting Q, once the data has been assured by BEIS Finance, RODA will lock the dataset in to create the single version of the truth (SVT) for that point in time. Once the dataset has been locked in to create the SVT the reports can be re-opened for Partner Organisation to continue to update their data for the next reporting Q.
